Australian Dodgeroos Selections | 2023 Asian Championships

The Australian Dodgeroos are officially returning to the international stage! The Dodgeroos will compete at the 2023 Asian Championships in December. The Asian Dodgeball Federation will unveil further details shortly on the host city, stadium and more.

Dodgeball Australia will host Open Sessions throughout July and August (schedule below). Sessions are open to everyone – new and experienced Cloth Dodgeball players. Our objectives include:

  • Growing the talent pool of players and participation of Cloth Dodgeball
  • Developing a fun, inclusive and engaging program
  • Opportunity for players to grow their skill-set, through specialised coaching and training
  • Identifying Talent for Australian Dodgeroos selection (by late Aug / early Sep)
  • Re-establishing events, including the Australian Dodgeball Premier League – ADPL in 2024. The ADPL ran from 2016-2019, and has been on hiatus since the 2019 season concluded.

Sessions are open to everyone, regardless if players have intentions to put their name forward for national team selection. Our goal is to rebuild our programs following the pandemic, and get as many players as possible involved in growing and developing the sport.

Our objective is to run sessions across Australia, however due to time constraints and logistics, this may not be possible in 2023. If in the event, we can’t host sessions in your state, players are encouraged to combine video and written application. Further info will be provided via our website and social media.
