2024 VPL Registration
Registration is open for the 2024 Victorian Premier League (VPL) season.
The VPL is sanctioned by Dodgeball Australia, World Dodgeball Association and Asian Dodgeball Federation. The international regulations are followed, including the new international ball (6.5 inch Cloth).
VENUE: Templestowe College
SEASON TIMEFRAME:
Begins: Saturday, April 20
Concludes: October 19 (regular season). November 16 / 17 (Finals Series)
DIVISIONS:
- VPL | Mixed (Standard 6 players on court. Max of 4 males on court, at any given time)
- VPL | Men’s (5 or 6 Players on court, dependant on division-wide numbers)
- VPL | Women’s (5 or 6 Players on court, dependent on division-wide numbers)
- VPL2 | Mixed (If demand permits, a minimum 4 – 6 team second division)
To consider a second division, a minimum of 6 – 8 teams must be registered in the first division.
PLAY IN MULTIPLE DIVISIONS: Players are permitted to play for different teams in each division (max of 1 team per division)
TEAM / CLUB REGISTRATION: Teams / Clubs can register to play in multiple divisions if they wish.
If a Team / Club wants to play in both VPL Mixed & VPL2 Mixed, a maximum of 3 players from the first division team, can play for the second division team on the same match-day.
To register your Team / Club, Captains must select a suburb they wish to represent, along with a nickname (EG: Doncaster Ducks, Footscray Falcons, Greensborough Dodgers, Skye Rainbows, South Morang Stingrays, Vermont Vipers etc).
REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:
Team / Club Registrations close Sunday, March 17.
