2020 University Dodgeball Registration
Dodgeball Federation Australia is excited to release the 2020 University Dodgeball program, proudly supported by UniSport Australia – the peak governing body of University sport in Australia. This year, we will once again host the Uni Dodgeball Championships at the Arnold Sports Festival, along with an expanded Uni Dodgeball League season beginning in May.
UNI DODGEBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS
This event will once again be held at the Arnold Sports Festival on Sunday, March 22. The University Dodgeball Championships is accessible to all Universities across Australia.
VENUE:
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre – 1 Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf VIC 3006
The event will be held at the Arnold Sports Festival. Players and staff will receive a pass prior to entry into the venue (free entry into the Arnold Sports Festival).
Last year, everyone involved in the event got to meet and take a group photo with Arnold Schwarzenegger. We are told by the event organisers, we will have another opportunity to meet Arnold throughout the weekend of this year’s event.

11am – 5pm, sign-in from 10am onwards.

Foam (6-Ball Rules)
GENDER:
Mixed Competition – maximum of 4 male players on court, at any given time (maximum of 6 players on court). Subs are also permitted, with any gender mix.
REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:
Team Registrations close Friday, March 13.
REGISTRATION FEE:
$200 Per Team | Early-Bird Rego – Registered and paid by Sunday, March 1
$250 Per Team | Standard Rego from March 2 onwards
Payments to be made by the University Team Captain or University itself. Further details will be given upon registration. Please note, participants must be a 2020 student for the University they are representing. Student and staff ID’s must be presented on the opening morning, prior to the competition’s commencement.

UNI DODGEBALL LEAGUE
Following the success of last year’s inaugural season, the 2020 version of the Uni Dodgeball League will see an expanded season, beginning in May, with rounds to take place on a monthly basis.
SEASON FORMAT:
– Six round season, followed by a Finals Series
– Teams will play two scheduled matches per round
SEASON DATES (Dates & venues to be confirmed soon):
Round 1: Saturday, May 2
Round 2: Saturday, May 23
Round 3: Saturday, June 27
Round 4: Saturday, July 25
Round 5: Saturday, August 29
Round 6: Saturday, September 19
Finals Series: Saturday, October 24

REGISTRATION: Universities from across Australia can submit multiple teams in the competition. There is a cost per team, per round which can be paid each round or in full. Teams need to commit each round and the finals series, if qualified. Teams located outside Victoria, will have an altered fixture, playing multiple matches per round to cut-down on the travel and expenses during the season.

$130 per round. Includes two matches each round.
