The Australian Dodgeball Premier League (ADPL) is the official national league of Australian Dodgeball. The league launched in 2016 – with the inaugural season staged in Melbourne (Victoria Conference).
The ADPL expanded its competition in Victoria for the 2017 season, with the inclusion of three divisions – Men’s, Mixed and Women’s. Nationwide, the competition also saw the introduction a New South Wales Conference, based in Sydney.
For the first-time, there was an ADPL National Finals Series and a National Dodgeball Australia Cup competition at the conclusion of the state-based season in December, 2017.
There are further plans to expand the ADPL across Australia in the near future.
The ADPL provides the framework for Australia’s high performance domestic competition. Through the ADPL, the league is utlised to assist in scouting Australian national team players, while also playing an important role in the development of Australian domestic dodgeball.
