2024 DA Beach Championships

Dodgeball Australia will officially host its first Beach tournament. The 2024 DA Beach Championships takes place Sunday, December 15 at Dandenong Stadium (beach courts at Volleyball Victoria headquarters).

This event is open to everyone from the Dodgeball community:

  • Teams & Players wishing to take part in a fun, new dodgeball format. New and experienced players are encouraged to be involved.
  • Talent Identification for Australian Beach Dodgeroos aspirants:
    This event will also act as part of a trial process, along with the weekly Open Sessions at Northcote Indoor Sports on Thursdays, 7pm – 9pm.
    The 2024 Beach World Cup will be in Kissimmee, Florida, USA from April 3 – 6. The Beach Dodgeroos squads comprising of Men’s, Women’s and Mixed will be confirmed in January.

DATE / TIME: Sunday, December 15 | Approx 12pm – 4pm (further info under ‘Format’ sub-heading below)

VENUE: Dandenong Stadium – 270 Stud Road, Dandenong North, Victoria

DIVISION:

MIXED – 5 players on court. Max of 4 players per gender, on court. Subs are also permitted.

FORMAT: Round-robin games, followed by Finals. Dependent on the number of teams registered, times below may slightly vary.

REGISTRATION | Team: Team Captain’s to submit and confirm their playing squad in the form below. If still updating players, these players can be submitted after completing the form.

Team names must include a suburb, followed by an optional nickname: EG: Bulleen Bears, Doreen Dugongs, Hawthorn Hurricanes, Vermont South Strikers etc.

REGISTRATION | Individual: Individual / Small Groups can register below, to be placed into a team.

REGISTRATION FEE:

Early-bird Rego: $140 Per Team | Register and paid by Sunday, December 1

Standard Rego: $150 Per Team | Register anytime from December 2 – 12

REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:

Team & Individual Registrations close Thursday, December 12.
