2017 European Championships Wrap
The 2017 European Championships was held in Glasgow, Scotland. This year, a record 14 nations competed in Europe’s most prestigious Dodgeball event.
The 2017 event was also a European World Cup qualifying campaign, in preparation for the 2018 World Cup in New York at Madison Square Garden.
The World Dodgeball Association World Cup will feature the top 10 nations in each of the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Divisions. Nations that fail to qualify for the World Cup, also have the option to play in the World Invitational event.
Europe has been granted three places in each category, to qualify for next year’s World Cup.
As defending champions at the 2016 World Cup in Manchester, England has been granted automatic entry into next year’s World Cup.
