2025 Dodgeroos Coaching Application
Dodgeball Australia is looking for dedicated and organised Assistant Coaches and a Dodgeroos Assistant to support our various Australian Dodgeroos national teams, including:
– Men’s
– Women’s
– Mixed
– Under 21’s
– Beach Dodgeroos (Men’s, Women’s and / or Mixed)
ROLES:
Scott Dent (Head Coach) and Jake Murphy (Dodgeroos Manager) will work with our staff to ensure a smooth and collaborative transition into the specific roles.
- Assistant Coach:
Each team will have a dedicated Assistant Coach, working together with our Head Coach.Positions Available: Men’s, Women’s, Mixed, Under 21’s & Beach Dodgeroos. - Dodgeroos Assistant:
The successful applicant will work across the board with all the Dodgeroos teams, working closely with the various assistant coaches and national head coach to manage logistics and support team needs both on and off the court.
These roles are essential for ensuring the smooth execution of training sessions, team events, and administrative tasks that allow coaches and players to focus on peak performance.
2025 INTERNATIONAL EVENTS:
- 2025 Beach World Cup | Kissimmee, Florida, USA | April 3 – 6
- 2025 World Cup | City TBC | Approx Oct – Nov
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Support: Assist coaches with setting up and organizing equipment, recording training session data, and managing practice schedules.
Team Administration: Handle administrative duties, including record-keeping, communication with players and coaches, and tracking player attendance.
Player Support: Serve as a point of contact for players, assisting with uniform distribution, equipment needs, and any team-related inquiries.
Event Coordination: Organise team meetings, special events, and team-building activities to support team cohesion and morale.
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that team policies and guidelines are followed and assist coaches with preparing reports and updates for the national head coach.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Effective Communication: Ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly with coaches, players, and administrative staff.
Supportive Attitude: A proactive, positive approach to assisting team needs and solving challenges as they arise.
Flexible Schedule: Availability to attend training sessions, tournaments, and team events as required, including some travel and weekend commitments.
