2019 Dodgeball Victoria University Championships

Dodgeball Federation Australia is excited to unveil the Dodgeball Victoria University Championships, proudly supported by UniSport Australia – the peak governing body of university sport in Australia.

The event will be hosted at the Arnold Sports Festival, located at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC). The 2019 DV University Championships is accessible to all Universities across Victoria. The competition will be held on Sunday, March 17.

The Team Captain representing each University must submit and confirm their playing squad(s) by March 10 (Early-Bird rego by March 4). Universities can submit more than one team if they wish.

Please note, participants must be a 2019 student for the University they are representing. Staff are also permitted to play – a maximum of two University staff per team are able to play for the University they are employed with. Student and staff ID’s must be presented on the opening morning, prior to the competition’s commencement.

GENDER:

Mixed Competition – maximum of 5 male players on court, at any given time (maximum of 6 players on court). Subs are also permitted, with any gender mix.

VENUE:

Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre –  1 Convention Centre Pl, South Wharf VIC 3006

The event will be held at the Arnold Sports Festival. Players and staff will receive a pass prior to entry into the venue (free entry into the Arnold Sports Festival).

COMPETITION SCHEDULE:

Sunday, March 17 | Group Stages & Finals Series

Approx 10am – 5pm, sign-in from 10am.

REGISTRATION CUT-OFF:

Team Registrations close Sunday, March 10.

REGISTRATION FEE:

$200 Per Team | Early-Bird Rego – Registered and paid by Monday, March 4

$250 Per Team | Standard Rego from March 5 onwards

Payments to be made by the University Team Captain or University itself. Further details will be given upon registration.

MEDIA:

Matches will be filmed throughout the event, including photography.
