2018 World Cup Launch At Madison Square Garden

The World Dodgeball Association will host a press conference at Madison Square Garden in the coming weeks to officially launch the 2018 World Cup, taking place August 3 – 4. 

Following the press conference, the Group Stage draw will be unveiled, along with ticket sales for the event.

In 2017, there were four World Cup qualifying events, held across four continents to determine which nations would qualify for the 2018 World Cup.

The World Cup has expanded this year, from eight nations in Manchester 2016, to 10 nations per division in New York 2018.

The Australian Dodgeroos successfully qualified for all three divisions at the 2017 Asia Pacific Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, finishing in second-place.

The following nations qualified across the three divisions.

MEN’S DIVISION: 

Australia, Austria, Canada, Malaysia, Egypt, England, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, USA (host)

MIXED DIVISION:

Australia, Austria, Canada, Egypt, England, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Scotland, Slovenia, USA (host)

WOMEN’S DIVISION:

Australia, Austria, Canada, Egypt, England, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Slovenia, USA (host)
