Official Launch | 2017 Asia Pacific Championships
The World Dodgeball Association, in partnership with the Malaysia Dodgeball Federation officially launched the 2017 Asia Pacific Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event will be held at the Axiata Arena from September 29 – October 1, with the top three nations in the Men’s, Women’s and Mixed categories earning qualification to the 2018 World Cup in New York.
Dodgeball Federation Australia, along with the Australian Dodgeroos are excited to be involved in what will be the biggest Dodgeball event in Asia.
Dodgeroos coach Craig Payne is excited to see Australia continually develop in the build-up to next year’s World Cup.
‘Kular Lumpur is an important pathway to the 2018 World Cup in New York. We look forward to defending our titles, and contributing to what will be a fantastic showcase for dodgeball across Asia.’

‘The Australian Dodgeroos are well underway in preparing for the 2017 Asia Pacific Championships. We realise what an important event this is, not only for the development of the Dodgeroos, but for the growth and expansion of Asian Dodgeball.’
The Australian Dodgeroos will seek to defend its crown as Asian champions, following their trifecta of wins during the 2015 Asian Championships, held in Melbourne.
With new nations set to partake for the first time on the international stage, we look forward to seeing the continual growth and development of Asian Dodgeball.
