2017 Dodgeroos Coaches Unveiled

Dodgeball Federation Australia is pleased to announce our Chemist Warehouse Australian Dodgeroos coaches for 2017. Dillon Jesudhason and Craig Payne will continue their roles as head coaches of the Men’s and Women’s teams respectively, en route to the 2017 Asian Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Both coaches have had extensive success since the inauguration of the Dodgeroos in 2015. Dillon help guide our Men’s Dodgeroos to win the 2015 Asian Championships, followed up by a third-place finish at the 2016 World Cup in Manchester.

Craig has also had a rich vein of success since his coaching debut, winning the Asian Championships, and notably the World Cup with the Women’s Dodgeroos. In doing so, Craig has guided the team to number one in the world.

‘It’s an enormous honour to be head coach of the Men’s Dodgeroos. I’m really looking forward to working with and managing a new crop of players coming through the ranks, and further developing our team at international level.’ – Dillon Jesudhason

‘Beginning from scratch in 2015, I’ve seen our Women’s Dodgeroos rise to extraordinary heights, to now be ranked number one in the world. While it’s a fantastic feat, we need to continually improve, grow the game and get more female involvement at high performance level. I’m really looking forward to the next chapter of working with the girls, and hopefully delivering more success at the Asian Championships.’ – Craig Payne

The DFA wishes Dillon and Craig the utmost success throughout 2017, and looks forward to further player development and success on the international stage.
