Extended Squad Announced For Women’s Dodgeroos World Cup Squad

Dodgeball Federation Australia is pleased to unveil the Chemist Warehouse Women’s Australian Dodgeroos’ 16-player extended squad for the 2016 World Cup in Manchester, England.

With the Women’s team prevailing over Malaysia in the World Cup qualifying Play-Off at the 2015 Asian Championships, this has subsequently given our girls direct qualification into next year’s World Cup.

Thus far, six players from the Asian Championships team have retained their place in the World Cup squad. These girls are as follows:

– Amber Darwinkel
– Clare Spillane
– Elli Darwinkel
– Lakita Seigafo
– Leanne Scott
– Megan Coetzer

All team members, including the extended squad will be take part in an official training session, held by coach Craig Payne, on Friday, November 21 at Bulleen Basketball Stadium. This next phase in the selection process will determine the final Dodgeroos squad for the 2016 World Cup.
