Road To The 2016 Manchester World Cup
The road to the 2016 Manchester World Cup begins on home soil for the Australia Dodgeroos. Our Australian dodgeballers are making their maiden appearance on the international stage at the 2015 Asian Dodgeball Championships in Melbourne, Australia from September 26 – 27.
With preparations well underway, here is a rundown of key dates to look out for:
– FRIDAY, JULY 31: DFA Friday Night Championships @ Deakin Uni YMCA Burwood

This is the final event to trial for the national teams (Men’s, Women’s, Mixed), to put yourself in the frame for provisional squad selection.
– MODAY, AUGUST 3: Australia Dodgeroos Provisional Squads Announced
– SUNDAY, AUGUST 9: DFA Dodgeroos Championships (Provisonal Squads – Must Attend) @ RMIT’s Bundoora Netball & Sports Centre, 1:30pm – 4:30pm
With all provisional squad players in attendance, the DFA will split players into teams. This final event is an opportunity to see how players adapt and work together with different people on the court.

– AUGUST 11 – SEPTEMBER 25: Weekly Training Sessions (2 x sessions per week)
– SEPTEMBER 26 – 27: 2015 Asian Dodgeball Championships
– APRIL 16 – 17, 2016: 2016 World Cup in Manchester, England
