Australia Dodgeroos Coaching Application

CoacheswantedwpDodgeball Federation Australia is looking to bolster its backroom staff, with the appointment of the Australia Dodgeroos coaches ahead of the 2015 Melbourne Asian Championships campaign from September 26 – 27.

The DFA is seeking applications to coach Australia’s Men’s, Women’s and Mixed teams. The length of the coaching tenure has the potential to go beyond this year’s Asian Championships, should the Men’s and / or Women’s teams qualify for the 2016 Manchester World Cup in April.

Whether you’re a current player in the midst of trialing for the Australian team or you wish to be more involved in the national setup, anyone is available to apply for the role.

 

The successful applicants must demonstrate the ability to:

– Confidently operate and run training sessions unsupervised, with the ability to write your own training programs for each session.

– Be responsible for ensuring that the team is prepared as best as possible for competition.

– Guide, assist and continually develop player skills.

– Recognise the DFA’s goals and objectives, and work towards achieving those goals on and off the court.

– Conduct yourself at all times in a manner which is credible to you, your team and the DFA.

– Be responsible for team performances and make all decisions aimed at achieving the best possible outcomes for the team.

– Build team morale and harmony within the playing squad.

– Work with the DFA and be transparent in pursuit of achieving team success.
